Day 7: Trusting God’s Plan - Women's Daily Devotional

Key Verse for today: "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." — Jeremiah 29:11

Devotional: Life can often feel uncertain. We make plans, set goals, and envision our future, but sometimes things don’t go the way we hoped. During these times, it’s easy to feel lost or frustrated, wondering if God is really in control. Yet, in Jeremiah 29:11, God gives a powerful promise to His people: He knows the plans He has for us, and they are plans for good.

God’s plans may not always align with our timing or our desires, but they are always perfect. He sees the whole picture—our past, present, and future—and lovingly guides us through each season. Just as a gardener tends to each plant with care, God nurtures and prepares us, sometimes in ways we don’t understand.

Trusting God’s plan requires surrender. It means choosing to believe that He is good, even when we don’t see the full picture. When we place our future in His hands, we can live with hope, knowing that He has a purpose for everything we face.

Reflection & Prayer Prompt: Reflect on an area of your life where you’ve struggled to trust God’s plan. Ask Him to help you release control and to trust that He is working for your good.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for the plans You have for me, even when I don’t understand them. Help me to trust You fully, knowing that You are leading me toward a future filled with hope. Give me peace as I place my life in Your hands, trusting in Your goodness and wisdom. Amen.
