Devotional:
Do you ever find yourself caught in a spiral of comparison? Maybe it’s scrolling through social media or overhearing someone’s success story, and suddenly, you feel like you’re not enough. Not smart enough, not accomplished enough, not beautiful enough. It’s a lie many of us believe far too easily.
But Psalm 139 gently reminds us of an unshakable truth: You are fearfully and wonderfully made by God Himself. Every detail about you, from the sparkle in your eyes to the strength you don’t even realize you have, was intentionally crafted by the Creator of the universe.
The world often tries to tell us otherwise. Advertisements push us to believe that our value depends on what we wear, how we look, or what we achieve. But God’s Word speaks a better message. He doesn’t measure your worth by what you do but by who you are in Him—a beloved daughter, redeemed and cherished.
The next time comparison starts whispering lies, turn to the One who knit you together in your mother’s womb. Celebrate the unique beauty and purpose He has given you, knowing that His works—including you—are wonderful.

Reflect on this: In what areas of your life have you been comparing yourself to others? How has it affected the way you see yourself?
Write down three things about yourself that reflect God’s intentional design. They could be physical traits, talents, or qualities. Praise Him for these gifts!
Take time in prayer to surrender the lies of comparison and embrace the truth of your identity in Christ.
Faith in Action:
Today, reach out to another woman—a friend, sister, or colleague—and speak words of encouragement over her. Compliment her on something you admire about her, not just for how she looks but for who she is.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for creating me so uniquely and wonderfully. Forgive me for the times I’ve compared myself to others and doubted my worth. Help me to see myself through Your eyes, full of love and purpose. Teach me to embrace who I am in You, and let me be a light that encourages others to do the same. Amen.
