Raising Kids with Faith, Not Fear

Devotional:
Raising children is one of the greatest blessings—and one of the greatest challenges. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the responsibility of shaping their hearts, guiding their choices, and protecting them from the world. The fears creep in: Am I doing enough? Am I doing it right?
But Proverbs 22:6 reminds us of a powerful truth: Your role is to train, but God is the one who holds their future. You don’t have to be a perfect parent—your job is to lead them in faith, love them well, and trust that God is working in their lives.
Let go of the fear that you have to control everything. Pray for them, teach them, and then release them into God’s hands. He loves them even more than you do, and His plans for them are good.
