Key Verse:
"He has made everything beautiful in its time."
— Ecclesiastes 3:11

Devotional:
Waiting can be hard, especially when you’re longing for something close to your heart—a breakthrough, a relationship, a dream, or even clarity for the next step. For many Christian women, the wait can feel like an unanswered prayer or a closed door. But the truth is, God’s timing is never wrong.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 reminds us that God makes everything beautiful in its time. Not ours. His. While waiting, it’s easy to doubt or even compare your journey to someone else’s. Yet the beauty of God’s plan is that it’s perfectly tailored for you. He sees the bigger picture and is working in ways you cannot see.

Think of a seed planted in the soil. For a time, there’s no visible sign of growth. Yet underneath, the roots are spreading, preparing for what’s to come. Your waiting season is not wasted—it’s a time of preparation, pruning, and deepening trust in God.

Whatever you’re waiting for today, trust that God’s timing is not a delay but a divine design. He loves you deeply and is working all things for your good and His glory.

Reflection & Prayer Prompt:

  • Reflect on a season of waiting you’ve experienced in the past. How did God show His faithfulness through it?

  • Surrender your current waiting season to God, asking Him for peace and patience as you trust His perfect timing.

Daily Faith in Action Task:
Write a note of encouragement to someone else who might also be in a waiting season. Share a scripture or a personal story of God’s faithfulness to uplift them.

Prayer:
Lord, it’s hard to wait, but I trust that Your timing is perfect. Help me to release control and lean into Your promises. Teach me patience and remind me that You are always at work, even when I cannot see it. Let me find peace in knowing that You are making all things beautiful in Your time. Amen.
