Key Verse:
"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." — 1 Peter 5:7

Devotional:

Anxiety can feel like a storm that won’t pass. Your mind races, your heart feels heavy, and no matter how much you try to calm yourself, the worry lingers. It’s exhausting.

But 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us that we don’t have to carry our anxiety alone. God invites us to cast our worries onto Him—not just talk about them, not just manage them, but release them into His hands. He cares about every fear, every uncertainty, and every sleepless night.

God doesn’t ask you to have it all figured out; He simply asks you to trust Him. When anxiety feels overwhelming, shift your focus from what if to who God is. He is faithful, He is in control, and He will never leave you.

Reflection & Prayer Prompt:

  • What anxious thoughts have been weighing you down lately?

  • Take a moment to surrender them to God in prayer, trusting that He cares for you.

Faith in Action:

Each time anxiety creeps in today, replace it with a short prayer. Say, “Lord, I give this to You. Help me trust You.” Keep repeating this as often as needed.

Prayer:

Lord, You see my anxious heart. Help me to cast my worries on You and trust in Your perfect peace. Remind me that I am not alone in this battle. Fill me with Your presence and calm my soul. Amen.
