When the Darkness Feels Overwhelming
"If these devotionals have been a blessing to you, consider supporting our ministry so we can continue sharing God’s word with women around the world. Your generosity helps spread His light! 🙏 ‘Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.’ – 2 Corinthians 9:7"
Key Verse:
"Even the darkness will not be dark to You; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to You." — Psalm 139:12

Devotional:
When life feels dark, it’s easy to believe that God is far away. Maybe you’re struggling with grief, loneliness, depression, or a situation that feels hopeless. The weight of it all can make it hard to pray, hard to hope, and hard to see a way forward.
But Psalm 139:12 reminds us of this truth: Even in the darkest places, God’s light still shines. What feels overwhelming to us is not overwhelming to Him. He sees you. He has not abandoned you. He is holding you, even when you can’t feel His presence.
Darkness does not have the final word—God does. The night will not last forever, and His light will break through. Keep holding on, even if it’s just by a thread. You are not alone.
Reflection & Prayer Prompt:
Where do you need to see God’s light in your life right now?
Ask Him to remind you of His presence and give you hope in the midst of the darkness.
Faith in Action:
Tell someone you trust how you’re feeling. You are not meant to carry this alone. If you’re struggling deeply, consider seeking support from a pastor, counselor, or friend.
Prayer:
Lord, this darkness feels heavy, and I don’t know how to move forward. But I trust that You are with me, even here. Shine Your light into my life, remind me of Your love, and help me to hold on to hope. Amen.
