You Are Not Invisible to God

When you feel unseen, remember who sees you.

"If these devotionals have been a blessing to you, consider supporting our ministry so we can continue sharing God’s word with women around the world. Your generosity helps spread His light! 🙏 ‘Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.’ – 2 Corinthians 9:7"

Key Verse:
"You are the God who sees me." — Genesis 16:13

Devotional:

Have you ever felt overlooked? Maybe you pour yourself into your family, your job, or your friendships, yet it feels like no one notices. The unseen work you do—the sacrifices, the late nights, the emotional labor—can sometimes feel like they don’t matter. But God sees every single moment.

Hagar, a servant in the Bible, felt this way too. She was cast out, alone in the wilderness, feeling abandoned and unseen. But in her lowest moment, God met her there. She called Him El Roi, which means “the God who sees me” (Genesis 16:13).

The same God who saw Hagar sees you. He notices every act of love, every unseen tear, and every silent prayer. Even when it feels like no one acknowledges your efforts, He does. And He will never forget you.

Reflection & Prayer Prompt:

  • Where in your life do you feel unseen?

  • Ask God to remind you of His presence and to fill you with the assurance that He sees and values you.

Faith in Action:

Take a moment today to encourage another woman who may feel unseen. Send a kind message, leave a note, or say a prayer for her. Let her know she is valued.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for seeing me when I feel invisible. Remind me that my worth is not found in recognition but in You. Help me to trust that every moment of my life matters to You. And give me the heart to see and encourage others who feel unseen. Amen.
