You Are Not Too Much
When you feel like you're "too much," remember this truth.
"If these devotionals have been a blessing to you, consider supporting our ministry so we can continue sharing God’s word with women around the world. Your generosity helps spread His light! 🙏 ‘Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.’ – 2 Corinthians 9:7"
Key Verse:
"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." — Psalm 139:14

Devotional:
Have you ever been told you’re “too emotional,” “too sensitive,” or “too much”? Maybe you’ve felt the need to shrink yourself to make others more comfortable. As women, we often absorb messages that tell us to tone down our passions, quiet our voices, or hold back our feelings. But here’s the truth: God made you exactly as you are, on purpose.
Think about Jesus—He welcomed deep emotions. He wept, expressed righteous anger, and rejoiced freely. He never apologized for feeling deeply, and neither should you. Your passion, your kindness, your strength, and even your sensitivity are not weaknesses; they are divine fingerprints of a God who designed you with intention.
Psalm 139:14 reminds us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. There is no mistake in how God created you. You don’t need to dim your light to make others comfortable. Instead, embrace who you are, knowing that your Creator delights in you just as you are.
Reflection & Prayer Prompt:
Where have you felt the need to shrink yourself or hold back?
Ask God to help you see yourself through His eyes and embrace the way He created you.
Faith in Action:
Speak life over yourself today. Write down three things you love about the way God made you. Then, affirm another woman—send a message, make a call, or tell her in person how much she is valued and loved.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for creating me with purpose. Help me to see myself as You do—not as “too much,” but as wonderfully made. Give me confidence to walk in the fullness of who You designed me to be. Let me be a light to others, reminding them of their worth in You. Amen.
